Vila Baleira Suites

Not fancy but it's a good hotel. The apartment has the essentials. The pool is good and almost on the beach. The beach is really nice. Location is good but you can't walk to city center.. you will need a car or taxi to move around. The staff is really nice and breakfast, although not amazing, is good. The place is clean and comfortable.

The hotel is in good location, close to the beach. They have minimart, pool bar, laundry machines, nice and accommodating reception persons. Rated it low because we were very disappointed with how dirty the room is. The picture in the website looks nicer than actual. Either these are rust or blood stains in the sheets in the 1st photo, and for the 3rd bed, it is a pullout sofa bed, sheet was filled with chips and so unclean.

Stayed there with my partner for 3 nights, great service, everyone was nice, the receptionists are a great help, wether it.s for renting a car (they will help u with that), or knowing good restaurants. The rooms are nice, we had a great view to the mountains, always clean. The pool is amazing, and the snack bar right by it has great snacks, if u wish to have something by the pool. The beach it.s just a few steps away. Breakfast has a good variety of food. The weather was always nice and the birds singing, it.s definitely something out of a paradise. The supermarket has the necessary. Overall i had a great experience, would recomend and would go back.

We stayed there for 3 nights, when we got there, we got assigned a room, however, when we entered it, even though we liked the room, we disliked the view and asked if we could get a room with a better view, which we got, free of charge. The breakfasts were balanced, the staff was fantastic and always helpful. The room was cleaned daily if we wished it, beds were comfortable, on the kitchenette there were the needed kitchen utensils, the 1 thing that was a bit of a bummer was that the wifi signal strenght was low. The pool was great and well mantained, the pool bar has a good choice of food, but not many cocktails ( no pina colada :( ), the beach is just a 2 min walk from the pool, the hotel has 3-4 free shuttles/day, but if u plan on renting a car, the hotel reception can get in touch with them and get you the best prices (i.d stay away from Moinho rent-a-car, way overpriced). We were recommended some really good restaurants by the staff. Props to the receptionist Monica Silva, who was helpful and friendly since we checked-in. Will return to the hotel.
